Sustainability

I have created Anne Haaning Curated as a complement to the fast-paced and modern world. I want to contribute to a more sustainable development and I see it as my goal to fulfill the needs of the current generations without destroying it for the future ones. I will do this through a holistic approach where aesthetics, the environment, human resources and the economy are equally respected.

I currently have two legs to this strategy:

- My consulting services as an interior designer, where I want to create spaces and interiors that feed us as humans on a deeper level. Through my designs, I want to stimulate people so that they come closer to themselves and the nature we come from. As far as possible, I always work from a long-term perspective and with high quality materials. Through my counseling, I focus on spreading the awareness to buy the right thing the first time - to think long-term. It is my ambition to curb the 'buy-and-throw-away culture'.

- My second leg is my products, where I provide you with a tangible alternative to the commercial newly produced goods. For example, I bring vintage lamps and furniture into our present by restoring and modernizing them. The products I create from scratch are made locally with respect for both the environment and people. In my newly produced items, I focus on a quality and design that does not succumb to the whims of fashion and thus can last for generations.

When selecting my partners, I make active choices. They are therefore mostly local and all with responsible production. When I choose foreign suppliers, typically when choosing fabrics, I always go for the highest quality on all parameters - this applies to the product itself as well as everything surrounding it, including focus on production conditions and working environment.
